Taylor and Anne

Thirty five years ago Taylor and his wife Anne set up their own salon in Glasgow 's Bath Street where they've established an enviable reputation in the business.
Taylor's work has taken him all over the world, participating in prestigious hair shows in London , New York , Hong Kong, Paris , Bangkok and Amsterdam .
Taylor described the award as "simply fantastic" and added: "I was with my wife and family and members of the salon team and hearing my name read out was a brilliant feeling.
"Being recognised like this within a profession as vibrant as mine is always a humbling experience. I've always been focused on getting the job done and so these moments are very special.
"I work in what I've always believed to be the best job in the world and I get to meet great people every day.
"When I first started my career as a teenager I never imagined how wonderful a journey it would be. I've visited so many countries and taken part in a string of massive hair shows but the one thing I love more than anything is being with a client and being entrusted with cutting their hair.
"I'll continue working hard and transforming clients with good hair makeovers for a long time yet."
